Note: This fly was created to pitch to grass and cover. Casts should be no more than 25 feet. It is fished with short, quick strips. It is highly impressionistic. I wanted to imitate the fleeing motion of a Crayfish. At times it is best fished lying motionless for an agonizing period of time, then stripped off the bottom, where most strikes occur. Colors should match the forage. A white body and red claws can be awesome combination.
